The “Website” was designed, developed, and owned by the Region of Central Greece, which from now on, for the sake of brevity, will be referred to as the “Company”, takes the management of your personal data very seriously and therefore makes every effort to fully comply with all their processing rules, as they arise from Greek and European law. The “Website” collects the personal information of its users only when they provide it voluntarily. Special care exists for the data collected with the help of cookies. Due to the frequent and rapid changes in technology, as well as the corresponding efforts of the legislator to keep the legislation in line with these changes, the “Website” undertakes to inform you of any modification in the personal data management policy. If the user/member disagrees with this policy, he must stop and avoid browsing the website.

STORING AND PROCESSING PRINCIPLES

The “Website” is committed to making every effort to protect the privacy of your information. Therefore, it cannot transfer them to any third party (natural or legal) for any reason except in the cases provided for by law and exclusively to the competent authorities.

Underage visitors have access to our services only with the consent of their parents or guardians, while in case of submission of personal information by underage visitors, the “Website” will delete all relevant information.

  • Members

For membership registration, the “Website” requires the following information:
Name, surname, email address, detailed address.
Optionally, members can fill in a phone, fax, website, resume, etc.

These data, regardless of the status of the members, appear publicly.
This information may be used by the “Website” to submit proposals for new services or for other informational purposes unless the recipient expressly states that he does not wish to do so.

Attention: The accuracy and authenticity of the information are the responsibility of the users who submit it. In the event that a request is submitted for the verification, correction, or removal of information, the website undertakes to examine it within one (1) month.   • Newsletters

The “Website” periodically sends newsletters to its users, depending on their status.

By creating your profile on bepartofnorthevia.gr or registering your email on the website, you are automatically included in the list of recipients of newsletters to the email address you register. When you receive a newsletter on behalf of the “Website”, it has a label explaining which category it belongs to. In every newsletter, you receive you have the option to unsubscribe, with a relevant link at the end of the email. Attention: When you unsubscribe from a newsletter, the unsubscribe only applies to that category. The management of your newsletter subscriptions is easily accessible through your profile (dashboard – newsletter subscriptions), where you can subscribe and unsubscribe to any newsletter you wish.   • Messages via contact form

By submitting your message in a contact form to the “Website”, you accept these terms regarding the use of your email and name by the “Website”.
The “Website” undertakes not to use these data for commercial promotion purposes nor to transfer them to third parties.

  • Comments

In order for a visitor/user to participate in the discussion/comment hosted by the “Website” on its pages, the name, email, and possibly some additional information, such as age, gender, etc., are required. The IP address and browser header are also recorded for security and validation reasons. Your message/comment is recorded exclusively for the development of discussion and communication between users, on each article/page and cannot be used for any other purpose.

An anonymous and encoded character sequence (String) is created between the email and the Gravatar service so that we can detect if the commenter is using it. After the comment is accepted by the “Website” the commenter’s profile photo is publicly visible, next to the corresponding comment.   • IP Addresses

The “Website” can detect the IP address through which the computer or any other electronic device accesses the Internet and then the “Website”, while this information is used for statistical purposes. In cases where the browser requests permission to download your location from our website, this information is used to provide more personalized information. In any case, your permission can be revoked at any time by changing your browser settings.

If you choose not to grant this permission, you may not be able to access certain services of the “Website”.

  • Cookies

If you leave a comment on visitecentralgreece.gr, the name, email, and other details that were stated when registering the comment are stored in a cookie. The purpose of this cookie is so that you don’t have to retype your details in the next comment. This cookie is deleted after one (1) year.

If you edit or create a new article/page/entry on, an additional cookie will be stored on your computer. This cookie does not contain any personal data and simply indicates the ID of the article/page/entry you edited. Deleted after one (1) day.

  • Hyperlinks

With the help of appropriate links within the “Website” access to third-party websites is provided. The placement of these links has been done with the sole purpose of facilitating visitors during their internet browsing. It is in no way an indication of acceptance or approval of the content of the websites listed with a link. Each link leads to a different website, the browsing of which is subject to the terms of use of that website.
